Nikola Enchev
Nikola attended the American College of Sofia, Bulgaria, from 2003 to 2008. At the age of 18 he won a national literature competition and published a collection of science fiction novellas. In 2011 Nikola acquired a BSc in Architectural Studies from the Welsh School of Architecture, UK, where his graduation project transformed a section of the abandoned sea port of Trieste, Italy, into an urban monastery for international pilgrims and travelers. Despite the academic workload at the WSA, Nikola also won the “Green Design Award” in the Design Against the Elements international competition to design a low-cost housing typology that can withstand the climate change driven extreme weather events in the Philippines.
As part of the “Year in Practice” of the Master in Architecture course at the WSA, Nikola is working at CR Studio as an intern for one year. He is involved in the survey, early design, and DCD stages of numerous Audi facilities across the United States, as well as contributes to various ongoing residential projects.
